Musicianship¶
Foundation skill for all bard abilities.
Overview¶
Musicianship is the core skill for all bard abilities. It determines the success rate of your bard songs and must be trained alongside other bard skills. Without Musicianship, bard skills cannot function.
Effects¶
Bard Skill Foundation¶
Enables and enhances:
- Peacemaking - Pacify area
- Provocation - Turn monsters against each other
- Discordance - Weaken creatures
Success Modifier¶
- Higher Musicianship = better bard skill success
- Reduces bard skill failure rate
- Essential for high-level bard play
Training¶
Active Training¶
Use Musicianship:
- Play instrument repeatedly
- Practice anywhere
- Gains on each attempt
Passive Training¶
- Trains while using other bard skills
- Improves alongside Peacemaking/Provocation
- Natural growth during bard activities

Macro Musicianship with an instrument. Each use gives gain chance.
