Custom Systems

New Dawn builds upon the classic Ultima Online foundation with unique systems that create fresh gameplay experiences while maintaining the spirit of the original game. These custom features distinguish New Dawn from other UO servers and provide new challenges for veterans and newcomers alike.

Achievement System

Track your accomplishments through New Dawn's comprehensive Achievement system. Complete challenges, reach milestones, and unlock exclusive titles.

For more information visit the Achievements page.

Spirit Summoner

The Spirit Summoner is a unique mage archetype that combines Magery with Spirit Speak.

Spirit Speak passively enhances your Magery summons, making them last longer and harder to dispel.

Animal Lore boosts your summons, increasing their stats.

For more information visit the Spirit Summoner page.

Codex Rifts

Rift Spawns are enhanced versions of normal monsters that can appear in place of regular creatures.

Defeating one may open a Rift Gate, giving players access to the Rift, which is a shared instance with other players.

Once inside, you have sixty minutes to fight through champion spawns and their bosses. Any monster in the Rift has a small chance to award Rift Shards, while bosses will always award them as long as you contributed enough damage.

Each champion spawn progresses through three tiers, and completing all three will summon the boss.

Monsters can also drop Codex fragments, used to craft Codex Bindings, which are then used to bless Runebooks.

Rift Shards can be exchanged for rewards.

For more information visit the Codex Rifts page.

Pirate Adventures

To begin a Pirate Adventure, players must first obtain a pirate map, which can drop from Ancient Sea Serpents or appear inside Strongboxes recovered from Enraged Krakens.

Once a map is found, it must be cleaned with a Bottle of Vinegar by a Cartographer before it becomes usable.

After the map is restored, double‑clicking it will open a gate that leads directly into the adventure instance. Inside, players have sixty minutes to clear the map and defeat its boss.

Defeating the boss will award Doubloons.

Doubloons can be exchanged for rewards.

For more information visit the Pirate Adventures page.

Archaeology System

Uncover lost artifacts and treasures from Britannia's forgotten past through the Archaeology system.

Decode clues that drop throughout the world, locate dig sites hidden in the coordinates embedded in the clue text, and excavate using three specialized tools to reveal what lies beneath.

For more information visit the Archaeology page.

Dungeon of the Week

Each week four random dungeons have a special bonus applied to them.

More slayers, gold, dungeon dyes, monster statues, higher chance of rift spawns and more.

For more information visit the Dungeon of the Week page

Dungeon Dyes

Every dungeon in Britannia leaves its mark on those who spend enough time within its depths.

Monsters slain inside a dungeon have a rare chance to drop a Dungeon Dye Material.

Collect enough material, load it into a Tailor Dye Kit, and you can craft a dye bottle that permanently colors clothing in that dungeon signature hue.

For more information visit the Dungeon Dyes page.

Battlegrounds

Capture the Flag

Two teams of pirates race to steal the enemy flag and bring it back to their base, while defending their own flag from being taken.

At the end of each match, every participant receives War Tokens based on their individual points, with the winning team earning a small bonus.

War Tokens can be exchanged for rewards.

For more information visit the Capture the Flag page.

Conquest

Take control of key positions across a contested battleground, hold them against the enemy, and bleed their tickets dry before yours run out.

Conquest is an objective-based team PvP mode inspired by such game modes as Battlefield's Conquest mode or WoW's Arathi Basin.

At the end of each match, every participant receives War Tokens based on their individual points, with the winning team earning a small bonus.

War Tokens can be exchanged for rewards.

For more information visit the Conquest page.

Ship Holds

On New Dawn, ships aren't simply ways to fish or get to an island. Here, they are your home away from home.

Single-click your ship hold to enter a little private area where you can store items and safely log out.

For more information visit the Ship Holds page.

Beekeeping

The Beekeeping system fits naturally alongside Gardening.

You'll produce Honey to fill orders and earn Apiary Marks, which can be exchanged for various rewards.

You can also refine Wax and craft a range of candles, adding a touch of craftsmanship to your apiary work.

For more information visit the Beekeeping page.
