Overview

Blacksmithy allows you to forge weapons, armor, and shields from metal ingots. One of the most valuable crafting skills, providing essential equipment for warriors and income through sales.

Effects

Weapon Crafting

Create metal weapons:

  • Swords, axes, maces
  • War hammers, war axes
  • Polearms and halberds

Armor Crafting

Forge metal armor:

  • Plate armor
  • Chainmail
  • Ringmail
  • Shields (all types)

Repair

  • Repair metal weapons and armor
  • Higher skill = better repair success
  • Can repair magical items

Early (0-30)

  • Buy iron ingots from NPC
  • Craft daggers and ringmail gloves
  • Smith near anvil and forge

Intermediate (30-60)

  • Mine your own iron

  • Smelt ingots from ore

Advanced (60-85)

  • Craft plate armor

Master (85-100)

  • Craft exceptional items regularly
  • Use valorite and verite ingots
