Parties

Group up with friends to hunt, share fame and karma, and look after each other's corpses.

Party size and invites

  • Parties can hold up to 40 members
  • The leader can always invite. The leader can also give individual members permission to invite new players. Pending invites count toward the 40
  • The party window shows the names of members who are out of range

Sharing fame and karma

Fame and karma sharing is on by default. The party leader can turn it on or off with the Share button in the party window, or with /share.

When sharing is on, the fame and karma from a kill are split evenly across the party. Only members within 40 tiles get a share.

Looting your corpse

Your party can loot your corpse by default. Each member chooses this for themselves. Turn it off with the Loot button in the party window, or with /loot, if you want to keep your corpse to yourself.

The Loot button always shows whether your party can actually loot your corpse.

Warning

If you log out, you leave your party, and looting your corpse becomes a criminal act again.

Fighting within a party

  • Attacking a party member or their pet doesn't flag you as a criminal
  • Party members still appear blue to each other, and you stay blue to everyone else
  • Killing a party member doesn't give a murder count

Type these in party chat.
