Moongate Runes

Moongate Runes change how your Gate Travel (7th circle) moongates look. Each rune unlocks a new gate color, and with it a new light color. The premium Riftgate runes also replace the gate itself with different art.

How It Works

  1. Buy a Moongate Rune from one of the reward stores (see below).
  2. Put the rune in your backpack along with 10 Codex Fragments, then double-click the rune.
  3. The rune and the fragments are used up, and that style is permanently unlocked for that character.
  4. Type [moongates to open the chooser and pick which style your gates use.

Your chosen style applies to both gates your Gate Travel spell opens. Classic (the normal blue gate) is always available.

Bound per character

Unlocked styles belong to the character who used the rune and can't be moved to another character.

Runes are blessed. If you already have a rune's style unlocked, the rune refuses to be used and keeps your fragments, so you can trade it away instead.

You can currently purchase them at the Champion, Rift, and Pirate reward stores.
