Discordance¶
Overview¶
Discordance will reduce the creature skills and stats, and apply a bonus chance of success to other barding skills like Provocation.
To use Discordance, you need instruments and Musicianship to play them.
Starting items if you choose this skill in character creation: Random Instrument.
Training¶
Train from Bard NPCs to reach around 50.
Discordance is a difficulty based skill. Some creatures are harder to "entice" than others, depending on their barding difficulty.
You can't use Discordance on a creature that's already been discorded, you'll need to break line of sight for about 17 seconds, usually by hiding or using invisibility, before you can attempt it again.
To be more efficient, you can gain Discordance and Musicianship at the same time.
